I have been writing to this company for two weeks because they charged my credit card twice in May on an order and membership that I never agreed to…..and never got a return call or email. I will be reporting this to the atty general if they do not resolve the fraudulent charges. I have never heard of this company until i got my Credit card Statement. Feel like I’ve beene scammed.

I ordered what was advertised on the website, but received a completely different wine. This is frustrating because I specifically chose this bottle based on the product description and promotion. The company needs to ensure accuracy between what they advertise and what actually ships to customers. I was disappointed by this experience and would expect better attention to order fulfillment. If you’re considering ordering from them, I’d recommend verifying your order confirmation carefully.

I had high expectations for this bottle, but unfortunately it was corked. The wine was undrinkable, which was disappointing given how much I was looking forward to trying it. It’s a shame, as I can’t speak to what the wine itself would have tasted like under better circumstances.

I placed an order for $129.74 but never received the wine. The money disappeared from my account without any notification or tracking information. I’ve been unable to resolve this issue, and it’s been disappointing to deal with. I wouldn’t recommend ordering until this is sorted out.

This wine didn’t deliver on any front. The initial taste left me unimpressed, and unfortunately it only got worse as I continued drinking. The finish was particularly off-putting. I was hoping for something better, but this one missed the mark entirely. Not a bottle I’d recommend or reach for again.

I received the offer on Facebook that I had no problem with and paid 59.99.unaware to me and not at all clear they took a futher £119.00 out of my account 4 days later I have cancelled my apparent membership ship within the 48 hours and have informed my bank . But no return of my money . I’ll eventually go to the small claims courts . Totally disgusted please beware of this company.

Be aware that a few days later after you have put your first order in you will be charged £119 annual membership fee. I wasn’t even aware of it! I’d stay away from this website operating like this!!

Feel completely scammed by Windrops. I only signed up to purchase a 6 bottle wine deal which i thought was good value (realised it wasnt as good as i thought but hey ho). I cancelled the trial immediately which led to a call by their customer service. They tricked me and offered me a free bottle of wine with an extra 10 days trial. I didnt realise the delivery charge was almost as much as the wine so i didnt order it. I thought i then cancelled the trial but somehow i didnt?! maybe its a mistake on my end i dont know, i tried to contact their customer service to cancel the auto renewal but have been ignored completely for 3 weeks. Now I’m forced to pay a £90 membership for nothing. Very poor customer service and i havent see value in their wine deals

They sneakily sign you up after a telephone call and then try to charge your card £90!? Without you knowing.
Very dishonest.

I saw an advertisement and bought 6 bottles as a present and ended up with a years subscription and I don’t even drink wine. If they advertised it truthfully and said we’re going to charge you £119 for membership when you buy the wine, I obviously wouldn’t have bought it. Tried to obtain a phone number but they are unwilling to provide one. Totally fed up with this unwanted experience

Dreadful experience. First purchase has failed to arrive and there appears to be no telephone number to get hold of anyone at wine drops? Eventually I’ve managed to get hold of the courier company to be told that some of the bottles are broken but they have no idea what is happening either. Feeling rather scammed!!

My parcel was scheduled for delivery on Monday, yet it is now Thursday with no delivery attempt and no proper explanation. Customer service promised a response within 48 hours but failed to follow up or contact the delivery depot. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable.

My advice is NOT to deal with this “company”. I’m still waiting for a refund after several months. Once they have your money, they are not interested. and will not engage. They were happy to engage when ordering. Not worth taking the risk of losing money, not getting wines, ordered, and the hassle of trying to get your money back. Maybe not make you bankrupt. Its the principle!

This company is the pits - first they charge me £119 fee without my consent and when I asked them to cancel my membership - nothing happened - Then they charged me for 6 bottles of RED and did not deliver - STAY AWAY FROM COMPANY - pass the message on - Laithwaites much better.

Be very careful if you make the wrong decision to buy from this “company”. Once they have your money, that’s it, they don’t want to know. And you’re lucky if you get any wine. I really don’t understand what’s going on when I read other reviews. It’s a mystery to me! I question the truthfulness of the reviews.

In October and November I enquired about purchasing some wine, not interested in membership, I received no wine either time and was charged £39.99 each time, no receipt, acknowledgement nothing, i.e. no chance to realise and cancel, still not realising the situation I purchased the 6 reds for £39.99 on 20th Dec, money was taken, again no receipt, acknowledgement of payment, nothing, strange I thought but actually received the wine the following day; I thought no more about it until my bank contacted me to tell they saw the £39.99 withdrawn but blocked an attempt to withdraw £119 without my knowledge a few days later, need I say, no receipt, no acknowledgement, had no idea, £119, what was that all about? ! So they took 2 lots of £39.99 with no wine delivered, and attempted to steal £119, obviously I’ve permanently blocked this mob but I wonder how many folk get caught like this? I think it’s a scam of sorts so folk, really watch your step with this mob, read all the print thoroughly and bear in mind you only get 2 days to cancel anything, I’ve since realised.

AWFUL Company. I’ve been charged for a subscription that I did not sign up for. Months later I am still waiting for a refund. Now they’ve got my money, they’re not interested in communicating any more. AVOID this Company, it’s not worth the hassle.

Two issues:
1. I ordered utilising an offer, unbeknownst to me got conned into a subscription service despite checking it was a one off order.
2. said order turns up, opened up Christmas Eve, 4 of the bottles were disgusting, not good quality red wine at all. Never had more than 2 bottles open at a time before! 3 went down the sink, one got drunk by someone with no tastebuds.
I am so glad I did not continue with the subscription service. Back to Virgin wines for us.

Case of wine £39.99 checking bank they took £119.99 not authrizedif this was returned to my account by banks charge back you also have sale of goods act winedrop terms are not legal they do not take phone calls the wine was as bad as the company they have been red flaged once they have bank details they can take further funds for yearly subscription this scam out fit thinks they are above the laws to protect you they are not

Ordered their reds bundle case thinking I was getting 6 bottles of decent wine for £39.99. Noticed luckily that I had been signed up for a subscription! Cancelled that very quickly and when the wine arrived it was 4 bottles of wine they sell for under £10 anyway. Some deal! I tried to question why it was not a case of 6 bottles as you would normally expect but no reply. Crap eh!

Shocking delivery service and comms. Do not use. As of yet no wine and no refund. Ordered on 5th Dec it’s now the 23rd.

Been a member for years and always been satisfied until recently with wine, delivery and service. Has Winedrops become too big? Experiencing significant delays on paid for delivery and no customer feedback

How do we get these scum bags shut down. Please shout out in every direction. Everything they are doing is so wrong. The only way they get good reviews is by promising free bottles in return and unfortunately most of us are stupid and fall for it.
If it sounds to good to be true it is.
I hope the people behind this get prosecuted asap and I will do my utmost to spread the word far and wide so we stop them.

Dreadful “company”. I have been charged for a wine membership that I did not sign up for. I have been trying for months to get reimbursed. I am out of pocket for something that I have not received. How do they get away with it?!
