I was charged an automatic subscription fee that I did not expect, and getting a refund was a real hassle. Rather than returning the money to my credit card, Casedrops instead issued a store credit, essentially pushing me to buy more wine — which then came with inflated shipping charges on top of everything. This felt deceptive and left me deeply frustrated with the entire experience. Customers should be clearly informed about automatic charges before they happen, and refunds should be straightforward and returned to the original payment method without conditions. I would not recommend signing up until these billing practices are properly addressed.

I was directed here solely to verify my age for another site, but the experience was frustrating from the start. The page loaded incredibly slowly and never actually took me through to the verification process. As a result, I gave up and didn’t end up purchasing the wine I was after. For something as straightforward as age verification, the process should be seamless and quick — this was neither. Hopefully Casedrops can address these technical issues, as a broken verification flow means customers are simply walking away before completing their purchase.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. A $99 membership fee was quietly added to my order with only a 48-hour cancellation window — far too short a timeframe for most customers to catch it. I didn’t notice until the charge appeared on my credit card bill. To make matters worse, my original order confirmation clearly stated that the membership fee had been waived. For Casedrops to charge a fee that was explicitly described as waived is completely unacceptable. This kind of misleading billing practice is a serious breach of customer trust, and I would strongly caution others to scrutinize their statements carefully after placing an order.

Awful. Probably cooked in transit but not worth risking.

I have been receiving charges that I simply cannot explain or justify. I am not a member of Casedrops, I have never held a subscription, and I have never placed a single order. Despite this, charges continue to appear. I am asking Casedrops to please stop charging me immediately and to look into how this has happened in the first place. This is deeply frustrating and concerning, and I would appreciate a prompt response and a full resolution to this issue.

We had three bottles that were very good. We tried to open our fourth tonight and the cork slid into the bottle and the taste was very unacceptable. We are very concerned about ordering any more s of this wine

I joined Casedrops and decided within a few days that the service wasn’t right for me. I had also placed a wine order that hadn’t yet shipped — to their credit, it was cancelled and refunded promptly.

The issue was the $99.99 membership fee. When I requested a refund, I was told that membership fees are only refunded as store credit. This policy was never clearly communicated before I signed up. I only discovered it when I tried to cancel.

I explicitly told customer service I wanted the $99.99 returned to my original payment method. Instead, they applied store credit to my account and kept my membership active through the end of the billing period. I ultimately had to dispute the charge with my credit card issuer.

My concern isn’t with the wines or the discounts — it’s with transparency. A $99.99 annual membership with a store-credit-only refund policy should be stated prominently before a customer authorizes payment, not buried where you only find it when trying to cancel. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Casedrops.

Thin, sweet, and underwhelming. This is not something I will ever drink again.

In a word, disappointed. Have had under $10 Cabs with more depth. Maybe too young to drink now? Would not recommend.

I need to have my most recent order cancelled immediately — I did not place it and it was not authorised by me. I am very concerned about this and would appreciate urgent assistance from the Casedrops team to resolve the matter as quickly as possible. Please look into this and confirm the cancellation at your earliest convenience.

I should have done more research. This non-vintage wine sells for $25 on other sites.

After placing my order, the site repeatedly attempted to charge a $99.99 annual membership fee — something I had not knowingly agreed to. While the wine did arrive, I would describe it as average at best. My bigger frustration was with the lack of customer support: there is no phone number to reach a live person, no visible ‘Contact Us’ option, and the ‘Go To App’ button at the bottom of the page simply did not work. I eventually managed to cancel my membership online, and the status does show as cancelled — however, Casedrops continued attempting to charge the $99.99 fee to my card. My old card had already been cancelled as a precaution, and I strongly urge Casedrops to stop these attempts entirely. The overall experience was deeply frustrating. The website is not user-friendly, support options are nearly nonexistent, and the recurring charge issue needs to be resolved immediately.

I want to make it clear that I did not place any orders — I was simply browsing the app and looking at the wine selection. I have not requested anything to be sent to me. If there is any concern about an accidental order being processed, please cancel it. I only drink Cabernet Sauvignon and have no interest in white wine whatsoever. I would appreciate confirmation that nothing has been dispatched. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Some of what happened may be partly my own fault, but the sign-up and billing process at Casedrops is genuinely confusing. I never knowingly authorized a payment, and I received no notification before my credit card was charged $99. As soon as I noticed, I requested a refund — but instead of returning the money to my card, Casedrops issued a site credit. I hadn’t used the service at all, so a credit is not particularly helpful. I was simply browsing to see what deals were available and ended up being charged without realizing it. Casedrops may well offer great deals, but I’d strongly advise anyone curious about the platform to read the fine print carefully before clicking anything, so you don’t find yourself in the same situation.

This company is unethical and buyer beware. I will warn all my friends to stay clear. I ordered 12 bottles and they split the case into two shipments to charge extra freight. They also charge 99.00 to join. No deals here trust me.
Better off shopping Hi Times Liquor daily specials, last bottle, or even Wine Thief in Napa.

I still have no idea how I ended up being charged by Casedrops. I downloaded the app, never created an account, never agreed to any subscription or terms — and yet $100 was taken from me without warning or permission. To make matters worse, Casedrops is essentially just an online store. There’s no meaningful service being offered, yet they appear to charge a $100 fee without ever asking for your consent. I would strongly caution anyone considering downloading the app to be very careful and review their payment details closely. This kind of charge, with no clear agreement or opt-in, is completely unacceptable.

My experience with Casedrops has been deeply frustrating. I placed an order for a case of wine, only to find that my account showed charges for two additional bottles that I never ordered or authorised. To make matters worse, there is no way to cancel orders once placed, and I was unable to reach anyone in customer service for help resolving the issue. When something goes wrong, having no support channel available is completely unacceptable. I won’t be using Casedrops again.

There’s a bitterness in it. I threw away the bottle. I’ll hold the rest of it for a few years to see if it gets better overtime. It tasted more like Box wine.

Asking a user how they’re enjoying the app immediately after they’ve downloaded it is genuinely frustrating. I hadn’t even had a chance to explore anything before I was prompted for feedback. It felt premature and unnecessary, and honestly made me second-guess my decision to download it in the first place. Casedrops would benefit from waiting until users have actually had a meaningful experience before reaching out for their opinion. First impressions matter, and this one wasn’t great.

I strongly advise anyone considering Casedrops to think carefully before signing up. Their subscription model feels predatory — the membership is presented in a way that makes it far too easy to be charged for recurring payments without fully understanding what you’re agreeing to. Many customers only realize they’ve been enrolled when they spot charges on their credit card, and when they reach out to support, they’re met with little willingness to make things right. The refusal to issue a refund, even after a clear explanation of the situation, was deeply disappointing. Rather than prioritizing customer trust, Casedrops hides behind terms and conditions while retaining money from customers who clearly didn’t intend to continue their subscription. A reputable company should send transparent renewal reminders and work with customers when honest mistakes occur. Instead, Casedrops appears to profit from confusion and declines to take responsibility. There are plenty of companies that earn repeat business through great products and honest service — in my experience, Casedrops has done the opposite. I won’t be returning, and I’d caution others to read every detail carefully before providing any payment information.

I found this experience deeply disappointing and, frankly, quite misleading. The service fell far short of what was promised, leaving me feeling misled from start to finish. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend Casedrops and will not be returning as a customer. I hope improvements are made so that others don’t have the same frustrating experience I did.
