My card was charged even though I never intended to finalise the transaction — I stopped the process as soon as I noticed there was a fee involved. Unfortunately, by the time I realised the order had gone through, the 48-hour cancellation window had already passed. The wine I received was around $20 per bottle, which is within my budget and was acceptable, but the bottles sent on a weekly basis are priced at over $50 each and are brands I’ve never heard of. There appears to be no way to select or request different wines, and my attempts to get in touch with customer service have gone completely unanswered. The whole experience has left me feeling misled, and I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Absolutely horrific stale tasting wine , not for me . Taste like it has been sitting in the sun for years in the shelf.

Upon opening, the cork was cristalized and the wine was bad. Taisted muddy and vinegar like.

This is a classic bait-and-switch operation. They advertise six bottles of wine at an attractively low price, but the offer is only redeemable through their app, where a membership fee and shipping charges are quietly added to what was marketed as a free-shipping order. As if that weren’t enough, once you’ve accepted those extra costs, you still cannot take advantage of future promotional offers without purchasing an entirely new membership. The pricing structure is deliberately misleading, and the lack of transparency is deeply frustrating. I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from this company to look elsewhere.

Beware of this scam and this company! I never signed up for a subscription, a membership or placed an order. All I wanted to do is look at what they had to offer, and they kept me and started charging my card.

This is marketed on this site to be a Napa Valley Cabernet when it is actually a California red in a Cabernet style. It was bottled and cellared at Dolum Estates but the grapes are not harvested from there. These bottles typically retail for $15-20 per bottle.

I really wanted to enjoy this, but it just wasn’t to my taste. I can’t put my finger on exactly what put me off, but from the first sip something felt off, and that feeling didn’t change as I worked through the glass. I gave it a fair chance, letting it breathe and trying it again, but my opinion stayed the same. I’m sure others may feel differently, and wine is nothing if not personal, but I won’t be reaching for this one again. Sometimes a bottle simply doesn’t click with you, and this was that bottle for me.

A deeply disappointing experience. I opened two bottles and found neither drinkable — both ended up poured down the drain. It’s hard to say much more when a wine doesn’t make it past the first sip. I can’t identify whether this was a storage issue, a fault with the bottles, or something else entirely, but either way the result was the same. I wouldn’t buy this again and couldn’t recommend it to anyone. If you’re considering a bottle, I’d suggest proceeding with real caution.

Both bottles we opened were badly corked, and not in the subtle, musty way that can sometimes slip past unnoticed. There was enough pressure built up inside that the wine practically erupted when opened — not unlike a shaken fizzy drink. Needless to say, neither bottle was drinkable. It’s a real shame, and while cork taint is an unfortunate reality in wine, experiencing it twice in a row with the same purchase is genuinely frustrating. I’d hope this was just a run of bad luck, but I can’t rate the experience as anything other than a significant letdown.

I have to be honest — this wine was a real disappointment. Whatever I was expecting based on the description, what was in the glass simply didn’t match up. I can’t point to anything that delivered on what was advertised. For me, it fell well short of the mark, and I wouldn’t rush to buy it again. Sometimes a wine just doesn’t land the way you hope, and unfortunately this was one of those occasions.

I came away from this purchase feeling genuinely ripped off. I can’t speak to the wine itself in any meaningful detail, but the overall experience left me with a strong sense that I hadn’t gotten what I paid for. That’s a hard feeling to shake, and it’s coloured my impression entirely. A rating of one star feels appropriate given how let down I was.

Sadly, this one didn’t work out at all. Without being able to pinpoint exactly what went wrong, the experience was disappointing enough that I’d rather return the bottle than try to work through it. Sometimes a wine simply doesn’t suit your palate, and sometimes something feels genuinely off — either way, this wasn’t a keeper for me. I’d encourage the team to get in touch to arrange the return.

Four of us sat down together and gave this a fair shot, thinking perhaps one of us was having an off night. We weren’t. Every single person at the table ended up pouring their glass down the drain — a rare and telling verdict. I can’t pinpoint exactly what went wrong, but when four people independently reach the same conclusion, the wine rather than the tasters seems the likely culprit. A deeply disappointing experience all round.

I gave this one a fair chance, but it never delivered. From the first pour to the last, the wine remained closed and lifeless — no real development in the glass, no moment where it came alive. I kept waiting for something to emerge, some shift in character or a hint of complexity, but it simply never happened. There are too many interesting bottles out there to spend time on something this dull. My honest advice: pass on this one and put your money elsewhere.

Sadly, this bottle wasn’t in good shape. Without putting too fine a point on it, the wine had clearly seen better days — the kind of experience that makes you wonder whether it was stored poorly somewhere along the way, or simply held onto for too long. There wasn’t much enjoyment to be had here. Disappointing, and not something I’d recommend seeking out at this stage.

A deeply disappointing experience, I’m afraid. The bottle arrived in such poor condition that it was simply undrinkable — not a matter of personal taste, but of the wine being well past its best. There was nothing to do but pour it away. I can’t speak to what it might once have been, but in the state it arrived, it offered nothing worth salvaging. A real letdown.

I really wanted to enjoy this, but it simply wasn’t for me — and I’d be doing fellow wine lovers a disservice if I didn’t say so honestly. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who has a genuine appreciation for quality, particularly if you’re expecting something that lives up to a higher price point. Sometimes a bottle just misses the mark entirely, and unfortunately this was one of those occasions for me. If you’re considering it, I’d suggest exploring other options first.

Unfortunately my experience with this wine was a deeply disappointing one. On opening, the cork was immediately foul-smelling — a clear sign of cork taint — and the wine itself had taken on a red-brown colour, confirming it was well past saving. The whole bottle had to be poured away. These things do happen from time to time, but it doesn’t make it any less frustrating, particularly when you’re looking forward to enjoying a bottle. Hopefully just an isolated incident, but I can’t rate the experience as anything other than very poor based on what I received.

My issue here isn’t really with the wine itself — I simply can’t speak to it fairly given the circumstances. What I can say is that after a single purchase, I found my card being charged on a recurring basis without my authorisation. That kind of experience, regardless of what’s in the bottle, makes it very difficult to trust a retailer. I’d strongly encourage anyone to keep a close eye on their statements after ordering. I hope this gets resolved promptly, but until it does, I can’t in good conscience recommend the buying experience here.

A real shame with this one. I opened two bottles on separate occasions, hoping the first might just be a one-off, but unfortunately both had turned. The sourness was unmistakable and the wine was undrinkable on each attempt. It’s always disappointing when a fault like this slips through, especially across more than one bottle. I can’t speak to what it might taste like in better condition, but as things stand I wasn’t able to enjoy it at all.

I really struggled with this one. The acidity was simply too much for me — it dominated everything and made it difficult to enjoy the wine at all. I appreciate that high acidity works well for some people, and I can see it might pair nicely with certain foods, but on its own it just wasn’t to my taste. Sadly not one I’d return to.

Honestly, not a great experience this time around. I had real trouble with the app, which made the whole thing feel more frustrating than enjoyable. When technology gets in the way, it’s hard to appreciate anything else — and unfortunately that’s where this one landed for me. Hopefully things improve on that front, because a clunky experience really does colour everything.

I came to this bottle after seeing it promoted on Instagram as a Napa Cabernet, which is a meaningful distinction — both in terms of origin and expectation. When it arrived, the label told a different story: simply “California.” That’s a broad appellation that covers a lot of ground, and it’s not what I was led to believe I was buying. I can’t speak to the wine itself in good conscience when the fundamental issue here is one of honest representation. If you’re going to promote something, the details matter. Disappointed.

I’ll keep this brief, because the wine doesn’t deserve much more. This is a straightforward, over-the-top fruit bomb — the kind of wine that hits you with sweetness and very little else. At the price point it carries, I expected something with a bit more nuance, complexity, or at least a sense of where it came from. Instead it tasted like something you’d expect to find on a discount shelf for around five dollars. There’s a place for easy-drinking wines, but this one doesn’t justify what you’re paying for it. Wouldn’t buy it again.

I want to share my experience as a warning to others. Three days after my order was charged to my card, I was hit with an additional charge for a Club membership I hadn’t knowingly signed up for. When I raised the issue, I was told that a refund was only possible within a 48-hour window — a window that had already passed. That kind of policy, buried in the small print and activated days after the initial purchase, feels genuinely deceptive. It left me feeling taken advantage of rather than valued as a new customer. I won’t be ordering again.

This bottle was clearly beyond its prime, which is deeply disappointing. What makes it worse is that this is the second time in a row I’ve had the same experience. When you’re investing in a bottle of wine, that kind of consistency in the wrong direction is genuinely frustrating. I’d love to be proved wrong next time, but right now my confidence is pretty shaken.

I really wanted to enjoy this, but unfortunately it just didn’t work for me at all. From the first sip it was clear something was off — I couldn’t find a single quality I could appreciate. Whether it was the aroma, the taste, or the overall experience, nothing came together in a way that felt enjoyable. I’d genuinely struggle to recommend this to anyone. Sometimes a bottle just isn’t for you, but this felt like more than a matter of personal preference. A real disappointment.

Unfortunately, this one missed the mark for me. On opening the bottle, the wine tasted noticeably past its best — there was an unmistakable staleness that made it difficult to enjoy. Beyond the quality of the wine itself, I also had issues with my billing, finding two unexpected charges on my account that I hadn’t been made aware of. Taken together, it was a frustrating experience overall, and not one I’d be eager to repeat. I’d hope these concerns — particularly around the billing — can be looked into and resolved.
