App kept crashing and some wines expensive.Special offers very good and delivery prompt.

Good prices but the user surface of the app could be a lot better. You can’t really search for wines like barolo or Amarone. Maybe you can, but I’ve been quite limited in my collection

Can’t ever find the champagne I like (veuve) at the price in the adverts

Good choice of wines but watch out for delivery charges, monthly fees.

Great wines and deals to be had. Unfortunately the wrong orders sent. Membership fee taken and £12.99 delivery. All explained when looked at in detail but mine as an offer from instagram I thought I could just grab. Now several emails later still waiting on a refund. Great wines though.

Product is great. App difficult to use. My shipping quantity is set for 6 bottles, ie one case. My first order came in 3 boxed and I was charged £6.99 each. Not good. But the products on offer are superb

Although the savings are great per bottle there is an annual charge and 6.99 delivery per case.

This is an unusual review.I got an invite to join Winedrops and thought I’d check out their Website. Looks great, 4.8/5 from Trustpilot 45,000 reviews (oops no 45,000 members!). So I had a look at Trustpilot, actually 4.2/5 from 12k reviews. So it’s a timing difference? and some subtle misleading.Does Trustpilot monitor how its scores are used by companies?Shouldn’t ratings be provided by a link to Trustpilot, because they change all the time, and hard wiring them is misleading.OK so this wasn’t a huge difference, but hey it’s a 14% uplift on the actual rating - moving it from good to excellent. So I won’t be using Winedrops.

Very hard to navigate the app but hopefully it will all be worth it when the wine arrives

Process is pretty good but haven’t tried the wine yet. There is an annual fee of £119

Excellent app, let down by the delivery service.

The app is slightly confusing as it charges you without any notification.

It’s not cheap. Wine is a little hit and miss. Unfortunately bought 2 bottles that were so bad I couldn’t drink them. Hidden charges of subscription on top of wine prices. Impossible to cancel. Terrible app for purchasing. I am attempting another case if no improvement I am hoping to find a way to cancel subscription. Fingers crossed.

App was strange in that you pay as you build your case. Search function also a bit hit or miss. First impression is not good

The subscription is very high , you need to order a lot of the wind drops to make it pay , otherwise great wine , great service

Loved the selection and price of wine but find the website confusing to navigate

Been a customer for 18 months, I do want to start by saying I do like the app, like the wine, I think you can generally speaking get good quality wine through the app at reasonable prices and the delivery is fast. I do think the marketing is pretty ick as it is misleading (IMO) as it makes you think that you’ll see Veuve, Whispering Angel, Pol and LP all over the app at crazy discounts but they are RARE. I’ve actually never seen LP in 18 months, seen Veuve once in a chaser and I missed it and I do see Whispering Angel a fair and Pol occasionally (in the drops, they often live in the store but normalish or slightly cheaper prices) but the Whispering Angel is always £15 not the £10 they show in the adds (though I think you get a sign up bottle for £10) and that’s really only a few quid off what you pay at Waitrose. I wish they’d either stop with the ads that mislead or they actually add in more of the recognisable brands at great prices and live up to their advertising. It’s still a nice service if you want to grab a few of the brands at slightly cheaper prices AND get some mystery bottles for £8-15 for nice quality wine and a few bottles of champagne for nice occasions when they pop up but I’d expect it rarely and you need to be on the ball when they come up.

Interesting concept but I’ve been asked to provide feedback before receiving my wine. Wine seems very good value but would’ve liked more clarity how the cellar works.

I find the process difficult. I was hoping to get Whispering Angel at a certain price but it seems I didn’t fully follow through and it has now gone up in price. I also wasn’t aware I had bought the wine immediately and had hope to look at the shopping basket before checking out. Can’t comment on the wine as just ordered.

Lovely wines but charge for delivery so not as good value for money as I thought

I’m writing this review as I’ve been offered a chance to win a £500 bottle of wine if I do so.I’m a little surprised by all the five star reviews when there are quite a few hidden costs to just downloading the app. Here is my experience to answer questions that are not easily available before you enter your credit card details. The membership fee is £119 per year.I immediately cancelled my subscription, which I think had to be done by emailing them. I could still benefit from free trial but it doesn’t tell me anywhere on the app when that ends so if I order beyond the free trial I will be charged full subscription.I then got cold called offering me a discount on membership fee, but it was still high so that was a no from me.Browsers beware- when ordering wine there is no basket so as soon as you add a wine then you have bought it, and it has been added to your case. When you fill your case, they’ll automatically deliver for £6.99. So I guess add £1.17 onto every bottle price. Finally the discounts are exaggerated. I ordered 6 bottles, (1 champagne, 1 prosecco, Moet garden spritz, whispering angel rose and 2 mendoza malbecs) It says that I saved £69.31, but when I googled each bottle, although they were not all currently available my guess was £22.34In summary if you drink a lot of wine then for reviews and easy access to different varieties at reasonable prices then go for it. But otherwise not worth the money/ hard sell

I was caught out by the initial subscription charge which I believe is too high and should not be levied until your first purchase is made. A refund was refused but some wine was offered instead, just not to the same value as the subscription. That said I have made an order for some presents and the purchase was fairly smooth and delivery was on time. Unsure on the value as the original subscription is around £100 and free delivery requires a very high spend.

After clicking through from Instagram I found an annual membership charge on my credit card, I can report this has now been successfully resolved
