Not what I ordered from the drop on casedrops. Was excited to receive my shipment only to be surprised and a bit let down. Same brand and wine maker. Different varietal and vintage. Got a BV HERO proprietary red 2022 instead. Still nice on the palate.. vanilla, dark fruit, cassis. Overall, enjoyable, but surprised with the inaccuracy.

I was pretty frustrated when I was charged a $99 membership fee that I hadn’t fully anticipated — what seemed like a great deal upfront turned out to have an extra cost attached. I think this is a real area of improvement for Casedrops: the membership fee should be communicated much more clearly before a customer confirms their order. That said, I have to give credit where it’s due — their customer service team handled my complaint professionally. They offered me a $99 credit toward wine and cancelled the subscription without any hassle. It was a fair resolution, and I appreciate that. Honestly, had the fee been transparent from the start, I would have happily become a loyal repeat customer. The product itself isn’t the issue — it’s just a matter of setting the right expectations upfront.

3 1/ 2 stars. Earthy and hints of chocolate. It feels a bit high on alcohol content, it is somehow noticeable.

Overall, the wines offered through Casedrops are of good quality — I’d say 95 to 97% of the time they genuinely impress. My only real complaint is that the vast majority of selections appear to be California wines. I had hoped for a broader mix, perhaps including bottles from Oregon, Europe, Argentina, and other notable wine regions. The quality is certainly there, but a more diverse range of origins would make the experience feel much more well-rounded and exciting for those looking to explore wines from around the world.

I’m honestly not sure what to say at this point. I recently placed an order for some wine through Casedrops, but it hasn’t arrived yet. It feels a little premature to be leaving a review when I haven’t actually received my purchase or had a chance to experience the product or service in full. I’ll reserve proper judgment until my order shows up. Fingers crossed the delivery goes smoothly — I’ll have a much better sense of things once the wine is in my hands.

It’s ok for a 20$ bottle but has a harsh aftertaste and doesn’t really make me love it. I tasted with another 20$ bottle I had purchased and between the two I think I like the other better and it was 2 days old. I do like to test their longevity as it does tell me a lot about quality.

This was my first time purchasing from Casedrops, and overall it was a reasonable experience. Everything went smoothly enough for a first-time order, and I didn’t encounter any major issues along the way. That said, there’s still room for improvement — a few things could be refined to make the experience feel more polished and reassuring for new customers. I’d say it’s a solid starting point, and I’m curious to see how future orders compare. For now, I’m cautiously optimistic and open to giving Casedrops another try down the line.

Not what I expected. Underwhelmed compared to my other Napa cabs in this price range. Middling wine that did not live up to the hype of case drop.

Decent bottle, but it ain’t no Caymus as suggested. Smooth, a bit thin. Totally drinkable. I felt like its quality was over sold here.

I recently purchased a case of wine and was surprised to find that I had been charged sales tax. I live in Oregon, which has no state sales tax, so this charge should not have applied to my order. It was a frustrating experience, and I hope the issue can be looked into and resolved. Overall, the ordering process was otherwise straightforward, but being incorrectly charged at checkout is something that definitely needs to be addressed.

The website isn’t the easiest to get around. It feels a little cluttered in places, with too many distractions that make it harder to find what you’re actually looking for. Streamlining the experience and making navigation more direct would go a long way. The core offering seems solid, but a cleaner, more intuitive layout would really help users get to where they need to be without unnecessary friction.

I found the Winedrops app a little difficult to navigate. The layout wasn’t immediately intuitive, and I had to spend more time than expected figuring out how things worked. It’s not a bad service overall, but the app experience could definitely benefit from some improvements in terms of clarity and user-friendliness. With a bit of refinement, it could be a much smoother experience for new users. I hope the team takes user feedback on board and works on making the interface more straightforward going forward.

First I hated the wax cap. We did not find the wine held up to the amazing description. If it wasn’t over sold it might have a higher rating.
