I only joined this app as I believed it would be more cost effective and easier to buy discounted quality wines intermittently rather than one big payment for overpriced cheap wines. I ended up (accidentally) buying about 40 extra bottles due to not counting as I was going along as all dispatches were being held until were closer to our wedding date. Well, I was not disappointed at all… we’ve been able to test out some of the wines and I’ve been pleasantly surprised not just at the quality of wines we’ve purchased (some of the best tasting wines) but the delivery and customer support too! We’ve decided to continue our membership as we just can’t go back to supermarket wine now lol.

I’ve been using Winedrops for a while now. For context, I have studied wine so I have a decent base of knowledge. What I would say is great is the variety, descriptions and transparency. I’ve bought some beautiful wines from here at a range of prices. Only downside is that customer services can be a bit absent from time to time

You get a decent amount of money off each bottle but the £90 annual fee means you have to drink a decent amount of wine for it to be worth it.
Luckily I do, so I think it’s a great app!

As a big wine lover I have done the rounds and a bit of research into my options and choose Winedrops. Based partly on a recommendation and partly on what they offer. So far I’m mega impressed, the app is so easy to install and understand how the inner workings operate. Delivery is prompt and officiate, I especially like the ability to demand wine as I require it, increase and decrease my delivery load as I see fit, most importantly the wines available at the price point are impressive to say the least.

I wasn’t to sure about buying from a app in the beginning but it’s changed how I buy wine now. I’ll never buy it again in the supermarkets

Took my first delivery last week , came with a complimentary bottle of whispering angel , but missing one of the paid for bottles . I messaged and it was sorted immediately. Very impressive customer service.

Really good app which is constantly getting better. The team at Wine Drops regularly adopt user feedback and implement change quickly and smoothly.

Ok, so I may have gone a little OTT with my first few orders, but you just can’t help pass by a good bargain! I like the pricing, I like the tasting notes, I like that you commit to buy when you select the wine you want - so costs can be spread out over time rather than a big bill in one order. So you can see your cellar building over time, and you can change the shipping so they hold your wine until you are ready to ship.
Unfortunately there is no benefit to larger orders, ie they add 50p per bottle on top of the minimum 6 bottles to ship. So when I got to 90+ bottles I ended up with a £50 shipping bill which hurt the pocket - but, several days later I was pleased to see my 8 cases of wine land on my doorstep.
Yes, the £90 fee is possibly a bit steep, but if you want access to great wines at a discount price, it’s worth it. Time will tell as to whether I renew my membership next year. But so far, I’ve liked the wines I’ve drunk from them

Finding wines I will enjoy can be time consuming. I love heading to my specialist shop and chatting to someone who understands my taste and budget but I can’t do it all the time. This makes it fairly to find great value wines with reassurance they will be good — the automatic Vivino rating inclusion for all the bottles is helpful. I’m on a trial and still exploring if full membership will be worth it but an interesting start!
