Pretty ordinary cheap vine. Lower than my expectations. 🤷♀️

I’ve been a customer with Casedrops for a while now, but I’m currently two 6-bottle cases behind and have yet to receive them. It’s frustrating to be paying for shipments that simply aren’t arriving. I hope this gets resolved soon, as I’d like to continue enjoying the service — but at this point, the fulfilment issues are making that difficult. I’d appreciate prompt communication and a quick resolution to get my missing orders on their way.

This wine tries hard and actually has some flavor profiles that are pleasing. It comes up way short in terms of what it’s supposed to be, a Napa Cabernet. Nothing big and bold about. It whimpers and lacks any length. So many better Napa quality/price values in this range.

I was very disappointed, especially for the price. I was expecting a much fuller bodied wine.

Thin, uninspiring. I believe the advert tried to compare this to an $80 Napa. Not even close

Honestly not my favorite.. I bought 12 because I’ve loved everything from case drops but am really struggling getting through these. They’re very acidic .. more than what I’m used to.

I really wanted to recommend Casedrops, but unfortunately I can’t. They advertise a no-questions-asked return policy for wines that are corked, past their prime, or otherwise unsatisfactory — which sounds great in theory. However, when I received a wine that was clearly well past its peak and completely undrinkable, getting a resolution turned into a frustrating ordeal. After three emails, I was still waiting on the “warehouse” to respond. The customer service interactions felt outsourced and unhelpful, with replies like “Have you opened how many bottle?” and “I will raise with warehouse for schedule” — neither of which addressed my simple request for a refund. What should have been a straightforward fix took well over a week with no resolution in sight. A return policy only means something if it’s actually honored efficiently. Based on my experience, Casedrops falls well short of the standard set by other wine retailers when it comes to after-sale support.

I found the Casedrops experience quite confusing overall. I placed an order for a six-case item, which should have been straightforward, but I was immediately overwhelmed with promotions and offers for other products I had no interest in. The constant bombardment of unrelated items made the whole experience frustrating rather than enjoyable. I just wanted to complete my purchase and move on, but the sheer volume of additional content being pushed at me made that feel impossible. Unfortunately, this has put me off returning, and I won’t be coming back. Casedrops might want to consider streamlining the experience for customers who simply want to make a focused purchase without being flooded with extras.

We didn’t care for this wine as much as we thought. I needs to cancel the second case in Order #WD-ywcyWm4psy. Thank you

Not my favorite. Not my cup of tea. Harsh taste, not balanced. Far too acidic for me. Wife and I did not enjoy this one.

Got a lot of plaudits saying better than Caymus amongst others.
Personally, I thought my first taste was a bit rough. Will try a 2nd bottle just in case

My main frustration with Winedrops was the lack of clarity around the costs associated with the service. The pricing structure was not communicated clearly enough upfront, which left me feeling uncertain and a little misled about what I was actually signing up for. When you’re making purchasing decisions, transparent pricing is essential, and unfortunately this wasn’t something I felt was handled well. I’d encourage the team to take a closer look at how service costs are presented to customers, as clearer communication in this area would go a long way toward building trust and improving the overall experience.

Carolyn found little to write home about with this one. No obvious faults, but nothing that caught her attention either — it simply didn’t stand out in any meaningful way. Sometimes a wine just fails to make an impression, and for Carolyn, this was one of those occasions. She rated it 2 out of 5, suggesting it fell short of her expectations and isn’t something she’d be rushing back to.

Unfortunately, this one didn’t win me over. The wine itself struck me as sharp and tart, with a metallic finish that lingered in an unpleasant way. To make matters worse, the cork was already coming apart, which raised immediate concerns about storage and quality control. A frustrating experience overall, and not one I’d be keen to repeat.

I gave this one a fair chance — two hours of breathing time — but it remained very tannic and quite harsh on the palate. My wife took one sip and put her glass down, which said it all really. I’ll hold my hands up and admit it was probably the wrong choice for what we were looking for, but it just didn’t work for us on the night. Others may well enjoy it if big tannins are their thing, but it’s not something I’d reach for again.

Honestly, this one just didn’t do it for me. I can’t put my finger on a single glaring flaw, but it never really clicked — nothing about it drew me in or made me want to come back for another glass. Sometimes a wine simply isn’t to your taste, and this was one of those occasions for me. I’d give it another shot in a different setting, but for now it sits firmly in the “not for me” category. Others might enjoy it more than I did.

I’d heard good things going in, but this one really let me down. The most notable issue was a persistent bitter aftertaste that lingered well beyond what I’d consider pleasant. I can appreciate a little bitterness in the right context, but here it felt out of balance and hard to shake. Given the reputation and how it was described, I expected something noticeably better. Sometimes a wine just doesn’t match its billing, and unfortunately this was one of those occasions for me. Probably won’t be returning to this one.

Honestly, this one just didn’t work for me. The bitterness was the dominant note throughout, and no matter how long I let it sit in the glass, it never quite softened into something I could enjoy. I know bitterness can be a welcome characteristic for some wine drinkers, and I’d be curious to hear from those who appreciate that profile — but for my palate, it was simply too much. I’ll be reaching for something rounder and fruitier next time. Two stars, and I’d encourage anyone who’s sensitive to bitter notes to maybe sample before committing to a full bottle.

Patricia found this wine ultimately underwhelming, with the finish falling noticeably flat. While she didn’t elaborate on the earlier parts of the tasting experience, a wine’s finish is often where it either earns its place or loses it — and for her, it lost. A flat close can leave the whole experience feeling incomplete, and that seems to be exactly the impression left here. A two-star rating reflects a genuine disappointment rather than outright rejection, suggesting there may have been some redeeming qualities along the way, but not enough to overcome that lifeless ending.

This one simply wasn’t for me. The residual sugar felt too pronounced and dominant throughout, leaving a sweetness that I found hard to get past. I was hoping for more oak influence to add some structure and depth, and a drier finish would have balanced things out considerably. I can see how others with a preference for sweeter styles might enjoy it, but if you lean toward the drier end of the spectrum, it’s worth bearing that in mind before reaching for a bottle. A style mismatch more than anything else.

This wine sits firmly on the sweeter end of the spectrum, and unfortunately that wasn’t a good match for my palate. The residual sugar is quite prominent — too much so for me personally. I kept wishing for more oak influence to add some structure and balance things out, and a drier finish would have made a real difference. I can see that some drinkers might enjoy the sweetness, but for those who lean toward drier styles, this one is likely to disappoint. Worth knowing before you open a bottle.
