Dérangé Red Blend

Tasting Notes
Dérangé is sourced exclusively from Napa Valley fruit and built with more aging potential than The Prisoner’s flagship Red Blend. It opens with dark plum, blackberry and blueberry, layered with clove, cinnamon and dark chocolate. The body is full, the tannins velvety and the acidity balanced, leading to a long, spiced finish. Pour it with braised short ribs, a holiday ham glazed with warm spices or a cheese board after dinner. It also makes a serious gift for the wine lover who already owns everything.

Corrections Reserve Red Wine 2022

Tasting Notes
Corrections Reserve is a limited annual release from the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley, blending Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. It spends 18 months in a mix of new and neutral French oak. Blueberry, fig jam and blackberry lead, backed by dark spice, savory herbs and baking spice. The tannins are firm and well structured, so it will reward a few more years in the cellar. If you’re buying a bottle to open now, decant it and serve with a standing rib roast or venison.
It’s also a bottle with a purpose: 5% of proceeds go to The Center for Art and Advocacy as part of the Corrections x The Prisoner collaboration. That makes it a meaningful holiday gift.
Awards
This is a limited release with no published critic scores yet. The pedigree speaks for itself: Stags Leap District fruit and 18 months in French oak.
